They say that in days of yore, in summer during the night a dragon came out from the Muveran just under the present location of the Plan Névé hut...
At the full moon, he could be seen flying in the air making large circles in the sky that came all the way down to just over Villars. While in flight, he spit fire that left magnificent large red-orange traces across the heavens.
Once his flight was completed, he disappeared behind the Dent de Favre, and what was stranger still -- he was never seen coming out from the other side.
They also say that in winter, he slept at the bottom of the Lake of Chavonnes, or at the bottom of the Lake of Bretaye, and that he melted the ice on the lake when he awoke in the spring.
